Our Story
I retired from my full time employment in Dec. 2008. By March, 2009, I was antsy to do something to keep me busy. My passion is embroidery. The natural choice was a custom embroidery business out of my home. So, here I am. I love creating beautiful items.
Cajun Stitchery is unique because I will embroider a single item or many items.

Machines and Materials
I embroider on an Amaya, a commercial embroidery machine. It is my understanding that these are the only embroidery machines made in the USA.
In fact, I go to extra lengths to obtain my items from USA based companies. Sometimes the item is made elsewhere but at least I purchase from the USA. I try to get items made in the USA.
More often than not, our customers provide their own items to be embroidered. Yes, I'm good with that.
SUSTAINABILITY
Cajun Stitchery has never believed in over packaging our products. If you bring your item to be embroidered in a plastic bag, chances are you will receive your finished item in the same plastic bag or one of our brown craft bags or simply a paper bag.
